Self guided tour of nine gardens begins at the gazebo in Newcom Founders Park (between Green, Brown and Hess Street)
Welcome to the first neighborhood in Dayton to be named to the national register of historic places. Optional guided history tour of the district departs from the gazebo at 1:00 p.m.
Proceeds from garden tour benefit the historic preservation efforts of the 501(c)(3) non-profit Oregon Historic District Society
Extend your walk/bike ride to South Park and enjoy their garden tour. Their tour times are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., tickets are also $10 and may be purchased at their gazebo at the east end of Park Drive, east of Wayne Avenue, or by calling Kriss Gang (937-271-912)
